What our students say
The Optuma course has definitely helped me to attempt this exam with more confidence and also be well prepared. Not having subscribed to this course would be like wandering in the dark.
It was definitely worthwhile getting on board with Optuma as they helped me prepare for both of the exams and in the end improved my understanding and application of Technical Analysis
Kind Regards
It is my pleasure to chat with you.
The Optuma CMT course was of much help in my preparation for CMT level 2 & CMT level 3.
It is hard to describe how much it impacted not only in course preparation but also in real-life technical analysis.
I was amazed by your style of explaining topics (as you say it’s written in the book but not sure this strategy is profitable) & the examples you take for explaining topics were also very good.
Once again thank you very much
I wanted to let you know that I passed Level II and I again appreciate the email you sent to me on June 27, 2022, with the encouraging words. The Optuma course and the lectures you gave were instrumental in helping me get back into an organized study routine.
It was tremendously satisfying to pass Level II after such a long hiatus from passing Level I in 2016. I know “crazy” it took me that long to get back on track, but I never forgot my passion to obtain the CMT designation.
Again thank you so much!
Thank you again for your CMT course and your commitment to excellence!
How long does it take to prepare for the CMT Level 2 Exam?
From helping thousands of people pass the CMT exams we can confidently say you will need between 3 to 5 months to study for the exam. This gives you enough time to properly read the textbook, get through the course, and sit a few practice exams. Doing all this gives you the best chance to pass your exam the first time.
How many hours should I study for the CMT Level 2 Exam?
The CMT recommends candidates study around 100-140 hours. The vast majority of this will be purely reading the textbook as our course only takes about 20 hours to complete. Even when you take our course, we recommend you read through each chapter of the textbook. Many of our students choose to view the videos more than once to cement the ideas in their mind.
